It is essential to have the right offensive sets, defensive strategy, etc., but teams also need players that are skilled enough to execute. So while it is important to spend time working on offensive plays and defensive strategy, as a team, you will always make time for skill development.
Having skilled players will open everything up. For example, if you have five players on the floor that can handle the ball and hit open shots. It will open up the floor for pretty much whatever you want to do on offense. From here, you can put in whatever offense you want.
On the defensive side of the floor, the goal is to get as many stops as possible. That means that a team needs players that can lock up and finish the play on the boards. This only happens though if your team spends time developing your players on the defensive end of the floor.
We will focus on a team’s skill development in different areas. EJ Ballers will focus on ball-handling, shooting, defense, rebounding and so much more.
